LEARNING LEVELS FOR

SAN NO YA

The initial stages of training often bring far more questions than answers in wado training. Tenacity, patience and an understanding of learning processes are required to prevent the practitioner throwing rocks in his own path.

Creating the paradigm with the incessant and regular daily practice of kihon waza & kata, such as the 5 pinan, are essential requirements for absorbing the physical dynamics necessary to use the fundamentals.

This daily practice itself will lead to a broadening in understanding for the dedicated practitioner and is thought to be the most important aspect in the initial stages to foster an elementary level of comprehension.

However, for understanding beyond the physical and its encumbent responsibilities, practice will include deeper integrated training of mind body & spirit which enables the integrity of the individual personality to occur.
